When I was reading DCU fanfic before I’d read the comics, I got this image in my head of Dick as this super-confident, devil-may-care guy. Granted, in those he was often interacting with other Robins, which is a way different dynamic, but… dude. Devil-may-care, maybe, sometimes, but wow, he has the least confidence, deep down. Poor boy.
